Salvatore (Billy) Darretta passed away on October 10, 2016 after a long illness. A Yonkers resident, he was born May 30, 1944 to Anthony and Concetta (nee Mancini) Darretta. He attended Yonkers Public Schools and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1962. He was employed by the United States Post Office, Thalle Construction and later the Courtyard Marriott Hotel in Rye, N.Y. Predeceased by his Sister, Anna Baumeister, Billy is survived by Sisters Nina Mastroddi of McMurray, PA., Angela Lutomski and Nettie Antonow of Yonkers, also His Brothers Peter of Pleasantville, John of East Dennis, Massachusetts, and Anthony of Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts. Billy leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
